Products
How long will it take for my product to reach me ?
This depends on whether the products in your order are on Pre-order , mode of payment and on your location. We dispatch our products from Monday to Saturday, and it takes another 3 to 15 working days for the order to reach you based on your location. Some products are on pre-order so please expect a short delay in the dispatch of these products. The relevant product page will have these details mentioned.
How do I know my size?
We follow US / EU sizing. If you are unsure about your size, please share your foot length with us so we can recommend the right size for your feet.
Mode of payment
- Prepaid Orders:- Once you place an order, we will try and dispatch most products the next working day itself. But this is based on the product.
- Cash On Delivery Orders: – We will dispatch your order the next working day after the cash on delivery order is confirmed. But this is based on the product.
Locations of delivery Within Maharashtra : Please allow 1 to 3 working days for the courier to be delivered.
Metros : Please allow 3 to 6 working days for the courier to be delivered.
Non-Metros and Interiors : Please allow 7 to 15 working days for the courier to be delivered.
How long will it take to process my return?
It will take 15 to 25 working days for you to receive a replacement or store credit.
PAYMENT
What payment methods can I use?
We have a number of payment methods. Choose the one that is most convenient for you.
- Online Payment via Credit or Debit We accept Visa, MasterCard and Maestro cards.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) You can make the payment once the product reaches you. However, this service is available only in within India.
Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?
Yes we do, however this is applicable only in India for selected pincodes.
How does Cash on Delivery (COD) work?
When you place a cash on delivery order, you will receive a confirmation call before dispatch. Only once the order is confirmed we will dispatch the same.
To confirm the order:
- You will receive an automated SMS as well as EMAIL to confirm the order.
- Incase you miss it, our Customer Support Team will call you on the same day or the next working day to confirm/cancel the order.
- You can email us your confirmation at help@theshoestory.in with your order number.
Please note : If we don’t hear from you 7 DAYS after you have placed your order, the order will be cancelled. We won’t be dispatching the order unless it is confirmed nor will be block stock for it.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, RETURNS & PAYMENTS
Does Theshoestory.in ship internationally?
Yes, we ship internationally but only on a minimum order value of $200 USD. This service is available on Clothing, Accessories & Shoes but not on our House and Home section.
How do I place an international order?
Please email us on support@theshoestory.in with the list products you are interested in, specifying sizing & quantity, your delivery address, and contact number and we will get in touch with you in 1-2 business days.
Is there an additional shipping charge?
There is a nominal charge based on the products and country we ship to. Please note, you will need to pay Customs Duty as per the duty structure of the country you reside in. Customs Duty will be on actuals, and you will need to pay the Customs Duty at the time of accepting the order.
How do I pay for my order?
We only ship out prepaid orders. We don’t accept international cards except Amex from select countries and PayPal.
Is there a minimum order value to ship internationally?
Yes. For international orders there is a minimum order value of $200 USD.
How long will it take for my order to reach me?
This depends on the products ordered. Some products are on Pre-order so please expect a short delay in the dispatch of these products. The relevant product page will have these details mentioned. Please allow us 2 – 7 working days for the courier to be delivered once shipped.
How do I return my order in case there is an issue?
We offer the option to exchange within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the product. Please email us with the list of products you need to exchange and the reason. Our customer service team will get in touch with you in 1-2 business days. We try our best to ensure that our products reach you defect and damage free but in the off chance this happens, please share images with us as well. This will help us solve your query faster.
Do you arrange reverse pickups?
No we don’t have a reverse pickup facility for international orders .You will need to ship the products back to us at your own cost.
GIFT CARD
How does a gift card work?
You can send a gift card of any value to your friends and family with absolute ease. We email the gift voucher code to the recipient on your behalf along with a message.
How can I use my gift voucher?
If you have received a gift voucher, all you have to do is shop all that you love and on the checkout page, enter your gift voucher code in the discount code section. Your gift voucher will automatically adjust against your total amount.

How do I register?
You can register by clicking on the Registration link {Icon image clickable}. It’s an easy way to be in the know about everything and keep track on your order status. You even checkout faster on all future orders once you sign up.
I don’t remember my password?
Select ‘Forgot Password’ on the log-in screen and you will immediately receive a ‘reset password’ link on your registered email ID with us.
Can I edit my personal information?
Yes, it can be done in the ‘My Account’ section.
How do I un-subscribe from your services?
You can Subscribe/Unsubscribe from our services anytime from the ‘My Account’ section.
